Tsoarelo is a long way from her childhood home in Tzaneen, Limpopo, and has made a life for herself in Midrand, Gauteng offering her skills and services to our hand-picked team of professionals.
Psychometry is a challenging profession in our Rainbow Nation where psychometric tests are not always available in every official language. However, if instructions can be explained in a patient’s mother tongue, there is an enormous opportunity to extract high quality information from the testing process. Tsoarelo speaks four languages: Sepedi, SeTswana, isiZulu and English and is key to Ormond Neuroscience’s ability to ethically put patients through their paces with the help of her multilingualism whenever necessary. She is patient, efficient, and a skilled psychometrist who is able to guide patients through the unfamiliar territory of assessments in such way that they feel confident and supported.
Tsoarelo joined the Ormond Neuroscience psychometry team in August 2023 and quickly became part of the Ormond Neuroscience family, fitting into our warm, integrated and authentic approach to patient care.
She received her BPsych equivalent in Psychometry from the University of Johannesburg and Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Pretoria.
She is a loving wife and mother of two energetic children and loves to holiday on the Durban beaches, favouring the sand, sea and sun over the bushveld. When nobody is around, Tsoarelo loves singing in the shower to unleash her inner Brenda Fassie with her favourite singer being our homegrown Sjava.
